Richard A."Rick" Mc Dade
December 1, 1946 - May 20, 2006
Rick was taken from us in a bike accident may 20 2006, he was on a trip to see some dear friends in Florida when he was killed.
It is believed that he missed his exit to get off to go to DC where he was going to visit the Viet Nam Memorial and the World War II Memorial when he got off at Harrisonburg Virginia and got back on the highway.
Less than a mile from returning to the highway he was possibly ran off the road. He fought to regain control of his Harley Davidson but was pulled from his bike when his cord to his stereo system and his helmet became caught on a guardrail marker and he fell from his bike. He was killed on impact.
Rick was a great guy who would do anything for anyone, and never ask for anything in return. He was a father of one and a grandfather of two. He left behind a wife who loved him dearly ( Deb ), they had only been married a short time but where soul mates and so made for each other. Rick also left behind a family who misses him terribly and our grief grows by the day! We all look forward to the day when we will be with him again.
